Full-time Licensed, Experienced Veterinary Technician

We are a newly opened, privately owned small animal clinic, with in house laboratory, digital dental radiology, and a digital radiology suite. The hospital is a state of the art facility with a cozy at home feel. We want our clientele to understand that they have a veterinary team and technician, who they can trust.

Major responsibilities of the veterinary technician include:

Managing patient care, including urgent care cases.
Dental prophylaxis and dental radiology
Anesthetic induction and monitoring
Client communication
Being able to lift at least 40 pounds
Training and directing support staff to run the practice as smoothly as possible
Being a lead in the practice, modeling exceptional patient and client care, contributing to staff and team meetings and working with management to improve the process.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday. No Saturday shifts or on call shifts.

Required education: Associates degree

Required license or certification: Licensed Veterinary Technician

Experience required: At least 1 year
